Awww moments with Alex

The other day I said something unkind about myself (oh I dont know, maybe I called myself a big old slob). Anyway, I didnt realize Alex heard me. He said to me..."mom, dont call yourself that, I dont know what that is, but your not. You're a lovely lady". Lovely Lady, I couldnt believe it, where did he come up with that!

He is a charmer, believe me (more on that later). The next day before we left to go to school/work he told me "remember you're a lovely lady and you're my princess". Oh, you cant buy love like that!

I'm on a roll now!

I definately need to learn how to customize my blog, so please feel free to send your comments or suggestions to me. For example, I want to have my pictures appear after the text or in between the text!

Here are some more pictures of the kids and one of me with Bella from Tammy's wedding. Michael is painting his room, which eventually was painted Philadelphia Eagle Green. He loves it.

My first blog entry

I have finally started my own family blog. I have been a voyeur for many months on my cousin's blogs and I have loved keeping in contact with their families.

We have been so blessed over the past few months in so many ways. This past September Jose and I bought our first (and last) home! It is a 1950's ranch style home and we love it. Finally the kids have a yard to play in and boy are they making the most of it.

The boys have started school this year and are loving it. Mike is a senior ( I cannot believe it, frankly I am just too young to have a senior), I have just ordered his senior portraits, announcements and cap and gown. I guess it must be real! Alex started kindergarten and is really enjoying his teacher and doing so well in class.

Bella is a joy and spends her time trying to keep up with her brothers. She is a kick in the pants and has a wicked sense of humor.

Jose is keeping busy with his newly formed band. They have played two gigs so far and have rocked the house! Their band is classic rock with some 80's and 90's thrown in for fun.
